Bitonto, Sept. 24, 2024 - The third edition of the 2024 Oil Gala, held Sept. 21-23 in the beautiful setting of Bitonto, ended with great success. The event, conceived by Emanuele Natalizio, known as the "chef of oil," aimed to promote and enhance the excellence of Italian extra virgin olive oil, celebrating the Courageous Oil Millers who, with dedication and passion, contribute to making Italy a world leader in EVO oil production. Emanuele Natalizio, known for his commitment to the popularization of olive culture, placed special emphasis on the importance of involving new generations and promotingnutrition education as a central element for the future of the sector. The event provided a unique opportunity to bring young people and enthusiasts closer to the wonders of extra virgin olive oil, through tastings, conferences and educational moments.
During the event, prizes were awarded to the best oils of 2024, with awards given to distinguished producers such as Giorgio Franci, Americo Quattrociocchi, Nicola Solinas and Donato Conserva, true protagonists of the sector, who with their work represent the excellence of "made in Italy." These Frantoiani Coraggiosi (Courageous Millers) have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to safeguarding quality, contributing to the sustainable development of Italian olive growing.
